I'm playing on the Sandy Gulch campaign, and it appears that the report of water production that I get when I click on my water icon at the bottom bar is incorrect. It appears to be changing to match the consumption, which appears accurate. I currently have 6 water pumps and 1 atmospheric condenser, which should be producing lots of water per hour (maybe around 70 units?), but the reported consumption is around 9/hour. See screenshot.

The reason is that water pumps stop pumping at a certain threshold, to avoid filling up your inventory with water that you don't need.

That's what the "Pump to Low Threshold" and "Pump to High Threshold" options on the Water Pump are for.

Ah, gotcha. That totally makes sense! But it does seem like the text that's displayed on the water pump itself (e.g., +14.0 Water per hour) is showing capability, not actual production, which is non-intuitive. I wonder if there's a way to slightly change how the UI is displaying these values to avoid confusion for players who are trying to, say, know how much each water pump is actually contributing to the total production.
