Every time I try Azara Falls, it gets hung up on the first food trade and my people starve. It shows that I am exporting all the gold, but the importing of the corn (or whatever) stalls at about halfway. What's happening? I'm following the missions, etc, and I've even had two trade centers with different trade assignments, *and two immigration centres, but still they starve before any food is delivered...?

Heya CosmicCowboy -- what do you mean that it "stalls"?  As long as the Trade Hub has power and workers, it should be getting the food in return for the gold.  And as long as you're not increasing the colony's population too quickly, that should definitely be enough food to keep the colony thriving long enough to build out to one of the farmable areas.

I thought I had deleted this.  Anyway, I got through it. I still don't know why but it was only trading one single item at a time (i.e. dropping one item then leaving, when the trade calls for 200 items). I got past that level anyway. Thanks for replying!

BTW, you mention not expanding population too quickly. What choice do I have? I can't shut down the immigration pad, it just powers back up again for no good reason.  I don't see any way to control that other than repeatedly destroying and rebuilding, which is beyond stupid...

You can always limit the immigration centre to two people. This will not stop the immigration, but slow it down.
