Now that I can hear the dialogue better, I learned a little bit more about the people talking to you.  It never occurred to me that Jack had a light, East-Coast accent.  He appears to be the goofball of the group.  That was funny how he tried "twerting" a picture of his butt to the Trader guy [it was to get back at him for making fun of his job], and ended up accidentally sending it to everyone on the colony ship, lol.  Thank goodness the blond lady saved his bacon, though everyone on the ship now knows what Jack's backside looks like.  Plus, Jack was banned from "twertle."

The Trader guy (I can't quite remember his name at the moment) appears to be Russian, though he could be Romanian too.  The blond lady (trying to remember her name...Vorna?  Verna?) seems to be a no-nonsense, workaholic.  I think Jack might have actually been flirting with her at one point.  Calandra seems nice, though you don't get much on her personality.  We still haven't learned why she wandered off into the desert tunnels and had a mysterious alien cube in her hand when Jack found her.  The old lady has that, prim, proper, British "prime minister" type of personality (though it's probably part of her job).  I'll have to write down their names next time I play.

Good summary 🙂

One of our artists is from the Republic of Georgia, and says Uros has what sounds like a Georgian accent.

Of course, 500 years in the future, the countries are all different, but there you go 😉

I wrote all the names down, except for the old lady.  I'll have to look at it next time she has another private talk with me.  I'm heading off to Tenari Glacier (story version) again.

Ah, now I understand Uros's background.  It would not surprise me one bit that there are people all over the world who wanted to come on the expedition.  I was telling a friend from the Netherlands about the game, and she, of course, wanted to know what languages the colonists spoke.  (I think she was really asking if there were any Dutch people in the colony, she just wasn't outright asking).  I told her it was in Beta, so for now, they just greet each other in English and Spanish.  No doubt there are Dutch people on the colony ship too, as well as people from other nations.

Jack, Kalandra, Uros, Veronika, Vory. (The five musketeers!)

Jack 'the lad' (a professional botanist with a illustrious tendency for practical jokes and always seeing the funny side of life. Can be serious when needed, but expect the unexpected!)

Kalandra (a professional administrator with a tendency for curiosity and to go wandering off without permission. She's a knock out!)

Uros (a dry humoured professional that holds his cards close to his chest. Confident and reliable. What a ladies man!)

Veronika (very prim, very proper and no doubt a wonderful person. Who let the queen of England in?)

Vory (a very professional leader and not one to get on the wrong side of things by the sound of it. Stern, but not too frightening and gets the job done. I bet she likes flowers though!)
