Hey I own a HTC Vive, whenever I launch Aven Colony the steamVR launches also and starts up my Vive even though it doesn't appear to utilise it in anyway. Closing the SteamVR closes the game too. Not so much a huge problem but thought it should be reported.

I'll have to test that but given that the game has zero Steam integration right now I'm not even sure how that's possible?
does this happen if you launch from itch.io?
Does it happen if you launch the game directly from the exe?
how are you running the game in general?

I have the itch.io version and ran a quick test on my Vive VR rig and didn't get the SteamVR to pop up.
Are you in this Steam closed beta?
